Account Switching is a Federal Government initiative which assists Australians in transferring their accounts from one financial institution to another. The Account Switching service is free of charge. Account Switching enables you to switch your salary, your direct debits (e.g. bills), your direct credits (e.g. share dividends) or to change the card number from which recurring payments are deducted.
First Option’s Account Switching service may be accessed online using the link below or by calling our friendly Member Service team.
Getting started is easy! All you need is:
- your new account/card number
- your old account/card number
- details of your automatic transfers (such as your salary, telephone bill, electricity bill etc.)
Then use these details to complete the online form. We'll generate the information you require to send to companies advising them of your change of account details.
