Making the History of the First Thirty Years
I was member of the team of long-term TAB employees that was given the task of oversighting the construction of the history that came to be called ‘Beating the Odds’. In the course of our efforts we interviewed a great number of Staff and Agents and asked many to put down their memories of TAB events in writing. Obviously not all the material ended up in the finished book but nevertheless the work was retained. Now we have the Internet access we can make that work available for all.
The first of a series of anecdotes and memories follows below. They are recorded in no particular order or priority. More will be added as time permits.
